Dim the lights. Start up the thumping music. Have the woman in the robe approach the door. Cue the pizza delivery guy. The door opens, they look into each other’s eyes and each pulls out … an EMF meter? You may be seeing similar scenes at a porn web site or on ghost hunter’s web page soon. Porn producers in England suspected there were ghosts in their studio and their experiences motivated them to combine the two businesses into one unique company that, not surprisingly, is creating a reality ghost hunting show. Who ya gonna call now?
Warning: Googling “paranormal porn” will take you to places NSFW, unless you’re Lee Green and his brother Mitch — porn-producing ghost hunters in Walsall, a town in the West Midlands near Birmingham.
“I went in the room and heard a moan coming from the far corner, I kind of didn’t believe my ears and walked out and down the stairs, then I heard the door on the top floor open and slam and while I stood there looking at it I heard each stair one after the next, bump, bump, bump in front of me – something was coming right at me!”
This sounds like the opening scene of a porn video, but Lee swears in a Mirror interview they weren’t shooting anything the day he heard the strange sounds in their old building that finally pushed him to investigate them. This was just the latest of the strange unexplained non-porn experiences he’d had in the old building – loud crashes, footsteps, creaks, water running, atmospheric changes – that he’d attributed until then to its age and condition. Always intrigued by the paranormal, Green finally had had enough and decided to look for other causes.
Just like in the porn business, his brother was ready to join in … as long as they weren’t the only males. They contacted some of their female performers — Tindra Frost and Hayley B (be careful if you Google them) – who kept their clothes on (well, most of them) while roaming the building with cameras, a Spirit Box, voice recorders, EMF readers and more searching for ghosts. And?
“Since we began making contact and investigating, we have caught a variety of ghostly voices either on the spirit box or straight up disembodied. We have captured a curtain being pulled down, a wide variety of orbs and people being touched.”
Paranormal and porn? What a concept!
Again, that sounds like a ghostly porn video … and that could be why the foursome (of the paranormal kind) decided to turn it into a side business and the Paranormal Pornstars were born. Amazon Prime liked the idea and the subsequent videos of other ghost hunts so much, it is turning the Paranormal Pornstars into reality show stars as well. Updates can be found on their Twitter feed.
